French Lessons in the Bay Area
We are a team of experienced and native French teachers offering small-group classes and tutoring for kids, teens and adults.
In our French after-school program, we welcome students as early as 3 years old. Classes are small (2-5 students) for greater student/teacher interaction. The curriculum is fun and creative, so that our students have fun and always look forward to going to French class. In every lesson, they build core language skills and achieve native-like pronunciation thanks to our dedicated native instructors. Students learn with others who share their age group and language level. All levels and all ages welcome! You can apply anytime during the year. Click here for information on enrollment.
One-on-one tutoring is available for adults who are preparing a trip to France, who want to reconnect with the language, culture and French arts, or who are looking for language and cross-cultural tips in a business context. About BLS founder
My name is Ariane Zambiras. I came to the Bay Area 7 years ago and fell in love with the region. I am currently a Fulbright Scholar at Cal; have an MA in Political Science from Sciences Po in Paris and a doctorate in sociology. I have 8 years of experience tutoring students and adults in French.
